§ 03 · what's in the number
What the $29 covers. And what it doesn't.
The $29 is the software, all of it. Booking, your branded site, payments online and in person, reminders, the client list with its history and notes, email campaigns, gift credit and referral rewards, and reporting are one plan at one price. There is no second tier, so there is nothing to upgrade to and no feature list with half the rows crossed out on yours.
Three costs sit outside the subscription, and none of them is ours. Your domain is billed at cost, about $12 a year for a .com, because we register it for you rather than resell it; if you already own one, connecting it is free. Card processing runs at Stripe's standard rates and goes to Stripe, with no markup from us on any rate. The card reader is optional, $249 once, bought from Stripe at Stripe's own price; online payments need no hardware at all.
And there is no commission anywhere in it. Not on bookings, not on new clients, not on payments at the chair. The subscription is the whole business model, which is exactly why it can stay flat.
§ 04 · the going rate
The advertised price. And the real one.
Most booking software advertises one number and bills another. The gap is usually a tier the ad doesn't mention, an add-on the software needs before it's useful, or a commission that only starts once the marketplace does. § 05 · if you leave
If you cancel, you leave whole.
There's no contract, so cancelling is a decision, not a negotiation. The plan is month to month, and you cancel from the manage page with a secure email link, the same place you update your card or read your invoices. Nobody routes you to a retention call.
Your client list leaves with you. Ask any time and we'll get you the full export, history and notes included, because the list was never ours to hold. And a domain you brought with you stays yours; you kept ownership of it the whole time.
