I started this because the software a one-chair shop is expected to run on either takes a cut of every new client or hides its real price behind a sales call, and I wanted to know whether that was actually necessary. It isn't.
I write the software. I also check every competitor price on this site against that company's own page, because I got tired of reading articles quoting numbers nobody had verified in years.
